12:02: Obama sworn in. Morning in America again.

12:05: Obama speaking of crisis, decline, education, health care. "Sapping of confidence."

12:07: "It's time to put aside childish things." America must reclaim energies. pioneer spirit. Obama telling America that it is American history that "time and again" we have struggled -- no sugar coating -- to become prosperous. Mention of Concord.

12:11: "What the critics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them." Pragmatism has overtaken partisan political bickering. Obama's arguments are profoundly American (pragmatism is one of the few American bred philosophies).

12:12: Obama lightly scolds the financial sector. Yay!

12:14: "Our security emanates from the justness of our cause .. we are the keepers of this legacy."

12:16: "The lines of tribe will soon dissolve." Pat Buchanan, somewhere, is clenching a can of some domestic suds, gnashing his teeth.

12:33: Reverend Lowry: "When the yellow man can be mellow man." WTF?!
