A Little of the Old In and Out

In: Everyone Loves Chris. We cannot help but softly chuckle over our crisp Chablis Grand Cru with a not inconsiderable amount of schadenfreude over the downfall of Matt LeBlanc, the master thespian whose last campaign involved a British Columbian stripper who, he said, "crossed the line." (Averted Gaze). It looks like the critics' favorite new comedy about 1970s era busing scored a victory. According to Diego Vasquez of Medialifemagazine:

"Last night the premiere of UPNs much-buzzed about new comedy featuring voiceover by Chris Rock finished ahead of NBCs 'Joey' at 8 p.m. among adults 18-49.

"'Chris' premiered last night to a 3.2 overnight rating among 18-49s, No. 2 in its very competitive 8 p.m. timeslot.

"That bettered the 3.0 rating NBC earned for the competing season premiere of 'Joey,' the 'Friends' spinoff. CBS finished first that half hour with a 5.5 for the first half of 'Survivor: Guatemala.'

"'Chris' 3.2 among 18-49s is a 78 percent year-to-year timeslot increase for UPN. Its 7.6 million total viewers make it the most-watched comedy premiere in the networks history."

Out: The Tom Sizemore Porn Tape. Wowreport links a clip from the Tom "Mr.Heidi Fleiss" Sizemore's sex tape. Hated it (Granted, we are only, like, a month behind on this news). While, to be sure, C-List porn can be quite enjoyable (especially with nubile actresses whose mouths are used for more than just dialogue), the Tom Sizemore clip is not all that. And (Arched eyebrow), we only had to watch it twice to come to that conclusion.

In: Jodie Foster. We like us the new Jodie Foster. She's candid (Well, she's candid about almost everything). Today, In LASocialDiary:

"You have to give Jodie Foster an A-plus for candor. Or guts. 'I would rather look my age then have plastic surgery, she says. I dont want to end up looking like Cher.' (Ouch!) She continues: 'I am starting to see all the funny changes, but I dont want to compete in a losing battle.' Jodie can be seen in the countrys multi-lexes in Flight Plan. Were still waiting to hear from Cher."

Oh no, she didn't!

I'll have to check the UPN show out- no one makes me laugh like Chris Rock, but how frustrating is it see him in these terrible movies all the time?!?

Jodie Foster -- gay?! She'd make for an interesting partner. So serious, that woman is. There would be no sex, just words. Questions all the time. "Can I gaze at your vagina?" "I dig your genital hood."

yes, check out Chris Rock. TiVo it if you have to. I LOVE it. Chris Lil Big Fat: I love Jodie Foster's eyes. They reek of high intelligence. I have not seen her vaginal hood, so I won't speculate, but I'm sure its smart too. Cheers, --R
